Workshop Location
Most of my in-person workshops take place in my home studio near Petersfield - a quiet, fully equipped space designed for focused and friendly learning.
Nestled in the South Downs National Park in Hampshire, the studio is easily accessible via the A3, M27 and rail links to Petersfield or Havant.

What you'll be Working on
My studio is equipped with high-quality Bernina longarm quilting machines, designed to support confident, hands-on learning.
You'll work on either a Bernina Q24 Frame (with a ClassiQ IQ IntelliQuilter system when automation is in use) or a Bernina Q20 Sit-Down Longarm, depending on the workshop and your needs.
I also provide access to additional tools, quilting materials, and guidance tailored to your level.
Whether you're trying longarm quilting for the first time or looking to deepen your skills, you'll have the space, equipment, and support to explore with confidence.
Longarm Experience Day
A relaxed, hands-on introduction to longarm quilting.
Curious about longarm quilting? This fun and creative experience day is perfect for anyone who simply wants to try it out - no pressure, no prior experience needed.
Spend the day exploring this fascinating craft in a welcoming studio environment. Whether you come solo or with friends, you’ll enjoy learning the basics and creating a sample piece to take home as a memento of your day.

Basic Freehand Quilting
Work from the front of the machine and discover a variety of essential freehand meanders and background filler designs.
This practical session will help you build your skills and confidence while creating a beautiful sampler of 12 designs to take home.
Choose from a wide selection of patterns and enjoy personalised guidance in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Beginner Pantograph Quilting
In this 6-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to properly set up and work with pantographs from the back of the quilting frame.
You’ll be guided step-by-step on rolling on and accurately repositioning pantographs for seamless repeat rows.
Plus, discover how to select, size, and stitch out pantograph designs to achieve the best possible results on your quilts.

A Menagerie of Meanders
Take your basic stipple meander to the next level in this hands-on workshop designed for intermediate quilters.
You’ll explore a variety of freehand meanders perfect for filling blocks, borders, sashing, and cornerstones -building your portfolio of beautiful quilting designs.

Quilting 101
Designed specifically for users of the IntelliQuilter Quilting Tablet, this 6-hour workshop will guide you through creating and editing pantographs all using your tablet.
This practical, hands-on class uses the IntelliQuilter system attached to a Bernina Q24 longarm machine.
By the end of the day, you’ll have a working sample to take home, showcasing your new computerized quilting skills.

In this full-day workshop, you’ll explore the art of freehand quilting a variety of feather designs — perfect for edge-to-edge quilting, borders, or blocks.
You’ll experience both traditional and longarm feather styles, learning how to add variety and interest to basic feather patterns and elevate your quilting to the next level.

Creative Quilting
Think outside the box and discover exciting new ways to use your quilting machine!
In this playful, hands-on workshop, you’ll explore making fantasy fabrics, quilt-as-you-go piecing, clothing projects, leatherwork, and more.
You’ll experiment with a variety of unique materials — including water-soluble and other non-woven textiles — and create a couple of useful items to take home.
By the end of this 6-hour creative playday, you’ll see your longarm quilting machine in a whole new light!

A 60-minute talk on the philosophy and process of quilt judging
Curious about what goes on behind the scenes at quilt competitions?
In this insightful talk, Tracey shares her journey to becoming a qualified quilt judge — a process that takes a minimum of two years and extensive training. Drawing on over a decade of experience judging at UK, European, and international shows, she’ll explain the philosophy of judging, what a typical judging day looks like, and share expert tips on how to make your quilts competition-ready.
Ideal for quilt groups, WI, and craft associations, this engaging session is delivered via Zoom and lasts 60 minutes.
